i just turn up the mic option on the top and pick up the music source from the amps speakers with setting the output you need to put on extend screen then go into options and put your laptop screen as the primary screen then go into nuvj and set preferences in display to the second screen for playback to your projector or tv

my question is does the audio have to be from an input TO the computer for the video to respond? or can it be internal audio?
my Nuvj is in the mail and will be here soon. also the whole extended desktop issue. im wondering should i go ahead and use it on my windows pc.. or my mac. mac would probably suit me better, but for the extended desktop. ive never done that with my mac. i have 2 plasma tvs to output to and an extra lcd monitor.
and if anyone could answer the audio input issue, could you maybe help me along with what type of input and how to set that up? thanks so much.

You probably want 640x480 (I'm assuming that's the top res of your
clips). Also, turn on 'overscan' for your output and see if that
helps. You can also try posting on the NuVJ forums, where the app
developers might know better than I.

Yep. I did that, but that's when it exposes about 1/8th of the screen at the bottom. The image is full and stretches across the screen but a sliver is seen at the bottom exposing my desktop. Someone told me it's because I didn't have the resolution selected but I've tried a lot of different ones to no avail. The one that exposes a little of the screen at the bottom has the best quality.
